Ashely Nichole McCord

Ashely Nichole McCord, 17, of Foxburg, entered eternal rest late Thursday afternoon,, November 24, 2011  at  the Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh following a brief illness and complications following surgery. Born in Kittanning Pa, on April 17, 1994, she was the daughter of James and Vicky Barger McCord. Ashley was a member of the senior class of 2012 at the Allegheny Valley Clarion High School. She was a gifted painter and a talented artist who loved to draw. When she wasn't drawing, Ashely loved to read and was also an avid bowler. She was protestant by faith.
In addition to her parents she is survived by one sister: Sara L. McCord of Foxburg. One maternal grandfather Daniel Barger of Clintoville. One paternal grandfather Donald McCord of Parker.
Ashley was preceded in death by her maternal grandma Norma Barger and paternal grandma Roberta McCord.
Friends were received  at the H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home (Wayne St) Parker, Pa. A private funeral was held. Interment was in the Bear Creek Cemetery, Petrolia.
