Clarion County Tax Day Tea Party
CLARION, PA – Come join us for a Tax Day Tea Party on Thursday, April 15, 2010 from 6-8 pm in the park across from the Clarion County Courthouse. This is your opportunity to take part in the reform movement that is sweeping the nation.
Speakers for this year’s event will include: Peg Luksik, Candidate for U.S. Senate; Elizabeth Bryan, Commonwealth Foundation; and Pennsylvania State Rep. Donna Oberlander.
The Tea Party movement advocates for a return to common-sense government in America. It is comprised of concerned citizens from all political parties, standing shoulder to shoulder to restore the values in our Constitution upon which our nation was founded. Furthermore, we promote the principles of fiscal responsibility, limited government, and a free market.
In 1787, George Washington stated: “The power under the Constitution will always be in the people. It is entrusted for certain defined purposes, and for a certain limited period, to representatives of their own choosing; and whenever it is executed contrary to their interest, or not agreeable to their wishes, their servants can, and undoubtedly will, be recalled.”
For all of those who share these values and desire to preserve America’s greatness, we hope to see you on April 15th!
This event is sponsored by the Clarion County Tea Party Patriots, the Clarion College Conservatives, and the College Republicans of Clarion University.
