Dear members of our community:

We are excited to tell you that a Ladies Auxiliary has been formed at the Paul Wood VFW Post 7840 located in Cherry Valley, PA. 
We would like to focus our endeavors to support our VFW through donations to our Post as well as support for VFW activities/functions.  An example of this would be to help/contribute to our Memorial Day services as well as our Veteran’s Day tribute.
In addition our Auxiliary would also like to help the community by assisting local organizations.    We would like to focus some of our efforts in taking donations for the VA Vets , soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan, Homeless Vets and the Wounded Warrior’s  program to name a few. 
Our Auxiliary would also like to promote patriotism in our community and our schools by volunteering to help with patriotic events and programs. 
The Ladies Auxiliary was formed to support local VFW’s in their service to the community.  We would like to continue this proud tradition and invite you the community to join us.   You are eligible to join our Auxiliary if your parent, grandparent, child, sibling or spouse has served in a foreign war.  If you think you may be eligible or would like more information please contact me @ 724-867-0575.
