Emlenton High School Alumni Award Scholarships

Two local A-C Valley graduates of the 2010 class were recognized during the annual Emlenton High School Alumni banquet.

Elizabeth Whitling daughter of Randy and Linda Miller of Emlenton received a $1500 scholarship.  She plans to study Dentistry at the University of Pittsburgh.
Mathew Boyd of 1272 Lisbon Rd., Kennerdell, PA was awarded a $1,000 scholarship to further his education in Computer Networking at Pittsburgh Technical Institute.
Paul Dreibelbis represented the Class of 1926 in awarding the scholarships. He encouraged the officers and E.M.H.S alumni to continue representing and supporting the area schools and wished  all graduates of 2010  happiness and success in future endeavors.
Note: Paul Dreibelbis will celebrate his “100th Birthday” on September 15, 2010.
