The National Bronze Leadership Circle Award is presented across the country to a very select number of volunteers for their commitment and service to Junior Achievement. Each winner has the leadership that is required to educate and inspire others to action. They inspire all of us to be better people and to serve others as they have served us.
This year over 175,000 people volunteered their time and talent for Junior Achievement across America, and 3,700 of those people were in the Pittsburgh region. They are business men and women, high school and college students, teachers, grandparents and retirees. JA volunteers can be found in the classroom, attending board meetings, golf tournaments, award dinners and even bowling to support Junior Achievement.
Each year JA pays tribute to several of these wonderful volunteers for their excellent contributions through a series of special awards. By receiving the National Bronze Leadership Circle Award, Ms. Groner will join several other special individuals that were nominated by Junior Achievement based on their contributions and service to the organization.
