Mirian E. Kriebel Bailey

MIRIAN E. KRIEBEL BAILEY, 80, of Perryville, Parker, Pa. entered eternal rest with Jesus Christ at 12:56 AM Sunday (11-06-11) at Clarion Hospital following an illness.
Born on May 20, 1931 in Parker Township, Butler County, she was the daughter of the late Ross and Mary Taylor Kriebel.
She was married on January 8, 1950 to Rev. David A. Bailey, retired Church of God pastor, and he survives.
Mirian was a graduate of the former Parker High School and the Franco Beauty School at New Kensington.
She operated beauty shoppes in Vandergrift and Perryville for many years.
A lifelong member of the Church of God (presently Park Hill), she was also a member of the Women of the Church of God.  She had served as state president of the Women of the Church of God for two years, and served for several years as president of the group at Park Hill at West Freedom.
In addition to her husband David, she is survived by a daughter Robin (John) Peters of Tylersburg (Clarion Co.) and a son:  Mark A. (Patricia) Bailey of Indianapolis, IN.; a brother: Rev. Alvin (Gloria) Kriebel of Anderson, IN. Also surviving are three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David Paul Bailey in 1982 and a daughter, Rita Jo Bailey in 1978. Also preseded by two brothers:  Earl and Homer Kriebel and four sisters:  Edna Huselton, Kate Allen, Iva Winslow, and Arlene Bailey.
Friends called from 3-8 PM on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 So. Wayne Ave., Parker and at the church for an hour preceding the funeral.  Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Park Hill Church of God, Lime Plant Rd., West Freedom with Rev. Lonny Wolford, Church of God pastor and Rev. Randy Evans, VNA Hospice chaplain co-officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery at Dutch Hill, Perry Twp., Clarion Co.
