The Riverstone Lounge & Grill Announces Official Opening

The Riverstone Lounge and Grill in Parker is announcing their official opening on November 10, 2011 and everyone is invited to check out this beautiful non-smoking, renovated establishment.

Since purchasing the business a few months ago, Otto Schiberl Jr. (A.K.A. Buster) and Vicki Whitmer went above and beyond to revamp and improve this bus-iness on River Ave.  With a new stone and barn wood face, updated stainless steel kitchen and a completely rebuilt lounge area, this family orientated restaurant and lounge is sure to be a great asset to our area. 
The dining section at this location is one of the oldest buildings still standing in Parker and once housed the Parker fire hall.  Through the years, it remained intact through fires, floods, and now, it is more beautiful than ever.  As you enter the building, an antique waterwheel from the old mill in Scrubgrass greets you with the sound of running water and a piece of nostalgia from the past.  The walls of both the dining area and the lounge also display scenic photos from the entire area and feature local artists to enhance your dining and visual experience during your visit.
This new business is sure to be a huge success.  A sister corporation to the already successful business, The Knotty Pines in Cook Forest, these owners bring their expertise to The Riverstone Lounge and Grill.  They will offer the same menu that already wows the customers in the forest with 23 different flavors of wings and a huge variety of bountiful foods that will satisfy even the most discriminate palate.   Their sandwiches are dubbed some of the best in forest, and now we can savor this cuisine locally.
“Our goal was to establish a family orientated business that offers great food at a fair price,” stated Buster.  “Although we do have a lounge area for before and after dinner drinks, we want to make this a place that even the youngest of consumers will love and enjoy.”
Vicki and Buster are not stopping there though.  They are in the process of purchasing what was formerly Chances R, and they anticipate the opening of this edition to The Riverstone Lounge and Grill in a couple months with huge new renovations to this property too. 
To begin, they will open their doors from 11AM to 2 AM, but they anticipate expanding their hours to offer breakfast soon.  They also will kick off the new business with a huge grand opening party to be announced at a later date. 
These new owners have a dedication to customer satisfaction, and are sure to be a huge new asset to our area.  With the renovation they already accomplished and the commitment to expansion, they add new life to the Parker Revitalization Program and the local area by creating new jobs and dining variety to the community.
