The Pumping Jack Museum will be offering guided tours of historic Emlenton via a colorful trolley/bus during Summerfest on Saturday, July 10. It will be leaving hourly from Unimart from 10 a.m. and the last trolley will unload at 4 p.m. The tour guides will be Emlenton residents Arch Newton and Nancy Kingsley. Both are well versed in Emlenton’s history and will provide interesting facts and stories about the town such as; which Emlenton home was ordered from the Sears Catalogue? The Rev. Stacie Pitts will be the newly installed yoked pastor of the Concord, Parker and Edenburg, Knox United Presbyterian Churches. Rev. Pitts' installation service will take place on Sunday, June 6 at the Edenburg Church, 405 Main Street, Knox, during a 3: 00 pm worship service. A reception will follow in the social hall.

The Brady's Bend American Legion Post 488 has scheduled another fishing day for kids.
The legion post plans on stocking the Sugarcreek stream behind their building on May 1st.
At this time the legion is asking for monitary donations to help pay for the trout, along with donations for prizes to be awarded to the kids fishing.
A Hunter-Trapper Education Course will be held at the Richland Grange, Rt. 38 on April 9th and 10th. The times of the course will be 5 PM to 9 PM on Friday, April 9, and at 9 AM to 5 PM Saturday, April 10.
