2021 - 2022 Hunting Licenses Now Available
According to Deborah H. Sharpe, Venango County Treasurer the 2021 - 2022 Hunting and Fur-Taker Licenses will begin to be sold on Monday, June 14, 2021. Licenses may be purchased at the Treasurer’s office in the Courthouse Annex at 1174 Elk Street, Franklin, PA.
July 12, 2021 will be the first day for resident’s antlerless deer license applications to be accepted by MAIL ONLY to the Venango County Treasurer’s Office, PO Box 708, Franklin, PA 16323.
New this year all licenses have increased by .07 remember when sending in checks for Doe Licenses the fees now are 6.97 for residents and 26.97 for non-residents.
The office is opened Monday — Friday 8:00 — 12:00 — 1:00 — 4:30 pm.
To qualify for a resident license a person has to be domiciled (maintains a true, fixed and permanent home and principal residence) in Pennsylvania for a period of 30 consecutive days immediately preceding application for a license.
Lifetime hunting licenses are also available in the Treasurer’s office.
