2022-2023 Karns City Girls Varsity Basketball


The 2022-2023 Karns City Girls basketball squad beginning of the season has offered up a variety of wins and losses.

The lady Gremlins are currently 3-4 overall and 1-2 in the KSAC South.

Coach Steve Andreassi’s team has put together wins against Clarion (48-16); Keystone (53-22) and a lopsided win against Oil City (33-13).

Against rival Moniteau, the lady Gremlins couldn’t over come the three point shooting barrage from the Lady Warriors and lost a close one by a score of 40-37.

The Lady Gremlins are a young team and are led by Seniors, Emma Dailey and Jordan Macurak.

The Lady Gremlins are averaging just under 40 points per game on the season.

Upcoming games include:

Jan. 16th - at home vs. Slippery Rock; January 18th - at North Clarion; January 20th at home vs. Union; January 24th at Keystone; January 26th-TBA; January 31st at home vs. North Clarion; February 2nd - at Redbank; Febraury 8th - at West Shamokin; February 10th - TBA; February 13th at Butler; and rounding out the regular season at home vs. Moniteau on February 15th.
