A Tentative Schedule for the Emlenton Summer Festival Has Been Issued

This year’s Emlenton Summer Festival will be held on Friday, July 8, Saturday, July 9 and Sunday July 10th. All events are on Prospect Street unless otherwise stated. Additional events and times will be added when the schedule is finalized.

If you are interested in having your name on the yard sale map, please submit your address to YARDSALES@EMLENTONPA.COM by Wednesday, July 6th. Please indicate Friday, Saturday, or both when submitting your address. An online map will be available by 6 PM Thursday, July 7th.

There will be a Baby Beautiful Contest. You can enter your baby’s picture in the annual Baby Beautiful Contest. The registration forms are on the town’s website. Deadline to enter is June 30th. The website is: summerfestival.emlentonpa.com. Voting is held at the Emlenton IGA until 1:30 P.M. Saturday July 9th. The winners will be announced Saturday during the festival by 2:00 PM.

Other Friday events include the Jr. Fishing Derby, a Cake Walk Fundraiser, a kids’ bike race and vendors throughout.

There will be activities on Main Street as well, like the annual Fireman’s delicious Strawberry Social and more.

On Saturday, yard sales will continue by chance. A kid’s scavenger hunt and a Treasure Dig are planned along with Tina’s Alpacas and Stormy Oaks Nature Conservancy. Bring your kids to meet the animals.

Come early and claim your spot to watch the famous annual Fireman’s Parade at 6 P.M.

On Prospect Street you’ll also find Dragonfly Balloons, kids’ favorite and other family games.

You’ll want to hang around after the parade for the highly anticipated “Fireworks” show at dusk.

On Sunday, July 10th, the annual Car Cruise/Car Show is planned. This year Amy’s Closet is sponsoring a family show by Jungle Terry, starting at 1:00 PM. A must see show.
