ACV Students Perform at District Band

Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School in Foxburg, PA, recently celebrated in the District Band Festival at Keystone High School in Knox, PA. Marissa Fisher placed 1st chair Baritone Sax; Brent Hetrick placed 1st chair trombone 1, Riley Bauer 2nd chair cornet III and Sydney Palmer placed first chair bass clarinet.

Guest conductor was Dr. Travis Weller from Messiah College.  Marissa, Brent and Sydney will advance to the Regional Band Festival hosted by Blairsville High School March 25-27.  The 7 PM concert on Saturday, March 27, 2020, will be held at Indiana University of PA under the direction of Dr. Jack Stamp. Congratulations to these dedicated musicians and their director Dr. Scott DiTullio.
