Alworth Awarded Outstanding Citizen of Perry Township

Rod Alworth was awarded 2022 Outstanding Citizen of Perry TWP Clarion County at the ending services of Community Days in August. He is pictured here with his son Jason Alworth.
Rod has been an active Perry TWP Volunteer Fireman since the age of 16. He served 25 yrs. as chief and has volunteered a total of 45 years to the fire company. He is currently Assistant Chief.
He continues to help on and off with Perry TWP doing maintenance and providing services as an equipment operator (in years past he was Perry TWP Supervisor). He has also helped at Tri-City Raceway for 16 years.
Rod has been married to his wife Karen for 40 yrs. Rod likes to spend his downtime watching his grandkids' sports.
His children and their spouses: Jason Alworth (wife amber), Jennifer Hawk (husband Larry), Jacque McBride (husband Chuck). Grandkids: Faith, Samantha, Delilah, Keegan, Lexan, Maya, Aubrie.
