Benny E. Myers

Benny E. Myers, 82, of Chicora, Pennsylvania died Saturday, December 12, 2020 in Butler Memorial Hospital of Covid19. He was born in Easton, PA-Clarion County, Friday, April 22, 1938, the son of the late Glade E. Myers and the late Myrna Eshbaugh Myers.

  He went to seminary college earning a Bachelor Degree in Ministry and served as Pastor in the Church of God of Prophecy in Rimersburg, PA.

  He enjoyed hunting and racing cars. He was a truck driver and served in the U. S. Army as a combat engineer.

  He is survived by a sister: Mary Lou Harrold of Petrolia, a brother: Terry and Bonnie Myers of Butler, PA. Nieces: Peggy Harrold and companion, Vernon Belles of Petrolia, PA, and Ricki and Brent Robinson of East Brady, PA; Deborah and Gary Todd of Twinsburg, Ohio. 2 great nieces and 2 great nephews. 3 great-great nieces and nephews.

 In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by an infant brother, Gary Myers and a niece, Karen Hiles, and a brother-in-law, Richard Harrold.

  There is no visitation because of the pandemic. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
