Butler VA to Host 10th Annual Summer Health & Wellness Event

The Butler VA Health Care System is hosting its 10th annual Summer Health & Wellness event. The event will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023, from 10 AM to 2 PM. VA information will be available on many programs such as Health Promotion & Disease Prevention, Nutrition & Food Services, Whole Health, Suicide Prevention, Women’s Health, etc. There will be a farmers’ market and a Tai Chi demonstration. Veteran Community Partnership representatives will be available to discuss their free program offerings to Veterans as well.

The event is free to attend, but attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items such as snack bars, nuts, cereal, canned items, microwavable dinners, etc. for the Veteran food pantry.

The event is for all Veterans and their families, as well as the local community is invited to attend.

Activiities will be at the Abie Abraham VA Clinic (outside lawn), 353 North Duffy Road, Butler, PA 16001

The Butler VA is committed to educating Veterans about their health and supporting them in their efforts to adopt healthy lifestyles.
