Charitable Deeds Annual Utility Campaign
Charitable Deeds and Services helps the poor and needy in Venango, Clarion and Forest counties. We have now started our 19 Annual Utility Campaign for the poor and needy. There are so many families out there without electric, gas, and water. I cannot believe this is happening in the United States of America. We continue to raise money each day, but it is not enough to keep up with the increasing need. With the epidemic that has fallen across the world, people are struggling harder than ever before. Covid -19 has affected everyone in some way. Please let us pause and say a prayer: Heavenly and Almighty God, who has all power and might to heal and protect, we pray today for the health and safety of all those on the frontlines of our fight against COVID-19. Please pray for the doctors, nurses, medical staff, police, firefighters, paramedics, all the essential works such as truck drivers, store clerks and all others serving our communities and fighting for our great country. LORD please touch everyone that has been stricken with Covid 19 and heal them, for we have no power to face this virus and its impacts on our own. Lord, we will follow you each step of the way. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
Charitable Deeds and Services is an organization that has 1,000 plus members. It has no expenses, no administration fees, and no one gets paid. There are 2 local family that takes care of all the expenses that we may incur. Because of this, we can give back 100 percent of what we raise, to the poor and needy. These 1,000 plus members do this for the love of God and neighbor. We are starting this campaign in October and will run thru the cold winter months. We are starting this campaign early, due to the overwhelming number of requests coming in daily. We are now pleading to the public, businesses, churches, and other organizations to help with this campaign. On November 2nd we will be starting our 19th year of helping the poor and needy. In all those years, we have yet to turn anyone away that needed our help, if they were worthy. Please pray, Lord that we may be able to take care of all those seeking Charitable Deeds help. A lot of families are struggling right. People are losing their jobs and are struggling to pay their bills and keep a roof over their head, let alone having to choose to get medication they need or food for their household. Have you ever had a thought that someday it was time to give back because the Good Lord has been so good to you, now is that time. With your help, we can help keep these families warm, have food, and get the medications they need.

If any trust, foundation, or other charity that would like to send us a grant, we can distribute it in their name, and send back an application for each family that we helped. We would like to have banks, businesses, and factories help us with this Utility Campaign. We have a 501C3 status. All donations are tax deductible. Sometime in your lifetime the Good Lord will repay you 10 times or more for helping the poor and needy.
P.S. We will be having a Huge Garage sale on November 19th,20th,21st. We are located at 200 & 260 High Point Road, Knox Pa 16232 from 8am – 2 pm. There are many new and gently used items. The money raised for these sales goes into the general account to help the poor and needy with their utility bills.
