Clarion Summer Festivals Announced

Bringing the Community Together and Boosting Tourism this Season

Clarion Summer Fest includes three festival event weekends to be held on the first weekend of June, July, and August. Clarion Summer Fest is designed to attract community members and overnight tourists to visit Clarion throughout the summer.

Each festival will host Pop Up shops on Main Street where local entrepreneurs will sell unique products, hosted by Clarion’s Main Street businesses. Also, “live” music events on and around 6th Avenue will be sponsored by C-93 and three local breweries: Clarion River Brewing Company, Lost in the Wilds and Mechanistic Brewery.

Clarion’s BIG Outdoor Festival: Friday & Saturday, June 3rd & 4th

Locals and out-of-town visitors are invited to explore local trails, the waterfront and bike paths in and around the Clarion River. This is the first-time ever the Clarion Chapter of the North Country Trail, including The Loop trail, and Rail 66 are working together to create outdoor experiences for hikers and bikers. The Rail 66 trail, that starts near O’Neil’s Quality Foods with parking just off 322, will feature a Friday Night Ride and a timed-trial Saturday morning for competitive bikers, starting at the Farmington Township Community Park. Among other hikes the North Country Trail & the Loop have special hikes planned for all ages and abilities. On Saturday morning, the newly founded Go Paddle PA will offer free kayaking experiences, and families are welcome. (*for more details refer to our schedule.)

Celebrate Hometown Festival: Saturday & Sunday, July 2nd & 3rd.

The second festival will be held July 2nd & 3rd. This Celebrate Hometown Festival will feature our community life and plans are to showcase local musical talent with Open Mic Night on Saturday, July 2nd on 6th Avenue.

Art & Music Festival: Friday & Saturday August 5th & 6th

The third and final festival weekend will be held on August 5 & 6 and highlight the arts, with a Sidewalk Chalk “Art on Main,” creating a public art installation, produced by Clarion Arts Council. “Live” music JAM stations will be positioned around Main Street.

Each festival will include Pop Up Shops, music and Destination Clarion Downtown businesses.
