Congressman “GT” Thompson Announces Re-Election Campaign in PA-15

HOWARD, PA – Congressman Glenn “GT” Thompson announced Wednesday that he will seek re-election to Pennsylvania’s 15th Congressional District, following a ruling by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court that updated congressional district lines for the commonwealth.
”I look forward to meeting the hardworking families, farmers, small business owners, and veterans in the counties that were added to PA-15,” Congressman Thompson said. “In many instances, this will be a reunion, because I have previously represented many of these counties during my time in Congress.”
Congressman Thompson currently represents the 15th Congressional District and a vast majority of the newly-drawn 15th District, which includes all or part of the following 18 counties: Armstrong, Cameron, Centre, Clarion, Clearfield, Clinton, Elk, Forest, Indiana, Jefferson, Lycoming, McKean, Potter, Snyder, Tioga, Union, Venango, and Warren.
“While I am deeply disappointed the court drawn map excludes a few counties and communities that I currently represent, those individuals know they will always have my support,” Congressman Thompson said. “I am also fully committed to delivering results for every community in PA-15 and continuing with the top notch constituent services our residents deserve.”
Congressman Thompson is the Republican Leader of the House Agriculture Committee and a senior member of the House Committee on Education and Labor.
He and his wife, Penny, reside in Howard Township, Centre County.
