Danny W. Shultz

Danny W. Shultz, 72, of Kittanning Hollow died April 28, 2020 at his residence.

Born December 17, 1947, he was the son of Earl W. and Anna E. (Wyant) Shultz.

Danny was a 1966 graduate of East Brady High School, and shortly after, enlisted in the US Army. Danny served our country during the Vietnam Era with the 659th Maintenance Company. He was a recipient of the National Defense Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, the Bronze Star Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.

After his discharge, Danny began a career as a fireman at the Deshon (VA) Hospital in Butler. He retired after 30+ years of service.

Danny was interested in gardening, fishing, roller-skating in his younger years, and working outdoors. He always participated in family reunions and was a passionate supporter of the MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) organization.

He is survived by one brother, Joseph (Esther) Shultz of Fenelton, and three sisters; Judy Crawford of Kittanning Hollow, Helen Whitmer of Emlenton and Marilyn (James) Rankin of Rimersburg.

Danny is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers; Ted, Charles, Guy and Jim Shultz, and six sisters; Rose Hester, Eleanor Gerner, Carolyn Stoughton, Barbara Zimmerman, Sue Yockey and Sally Shultz.

There will be no services for Danny W. Shultz.

Private burial was held in Bradys Bend Cemetery.
