The Boys & Girls Club Along the Allegheny held its annual Christmas Party on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. The party was delayed because of the COVID restrictions and the schools reopening. The members were very eager for the party because of the delay.

The party started with a magic show by Ray Lucas. He performed for an hour at the Crawford Center Auditorium. Because of the COVID restrictions, the show was held for members only. With social distancing the show’s format had to be restructured to comply. Ray traveled from Pittsburgh to share his magical talents. He has performed for the club in the past and was asked to come back by popular demand. The club members all said that they enjoyed the show.

Afterwards the club members enjoyed a bite to eat. They had their choice of tacos, chicken, mac and cheese, cookies and beverage.

The Venango County ATV Traction Club once again, provided many gifts for the club members. Some gifts included: fishing poles with reels, food items, craft items paints canvas boards, Play station games, a 42" flat screen TV and many other gifts. The Venango County ATV Traction has donated Christmas gifts for the past 14 years to the club. The chairman for the gift committee of the ATV Traction has largely been Teresa Vogel, who buys and wraps the gifts for the party, with help from various members of the club including her husband Scott. The club raises money all year long for the party. The Venango County ATV Traction president is Nate Altman; Vice-President Pat Kane; Secretary Linda Dillaman and Treasure Sandy Robinson. Along with the Boys & Girls Club Along the Allegheny, the ATV Traction Club also donates Christmas gifts to other charitable organizations throughout Venango County.

The Club Members and Board of Directors thank the Vogels and the Venango County ATV Traction Club for the generous support for the club.
