After months of not meeting regularly due to COVID, EBADC is now back to monthly meetings. Monthly meetings will be held in Suite 14 of the Arnold Beabout Community Center at 502 Ferry Street in East Brady on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 5:30 PM. The room is large and allows for social distancing. There is also ample parking on Ferry Street. The next meeting is April 27. All are invited to attend.
EBADC has several projects lined up for this Spring, including new displays in the art window on Kellys Way, Keep PA Beautiful clean-up day on April 24th, Attics and Cellars Day and a take-out Chicken BBQ dinner on May 29th, landscape work at the bridge parklet and Veteran’s Park, the installation of a Little Free Library on the Armstrong Trail, and the installation of the new signage for the East Brady Riverfront Park. The 2021 community project is to replace the sign for St. Stephen’s Church in Brady’s Bend (local historic site) and possibly to provide a bike fix-it station at the East Brady trail parking lot. Look for additional information closer to each event.
As always, we are open to new ideas and new members. Attendance at monthly meetings is encouraged but not necessary. If there is a particular project you are interested in, just let us know and we will be happy to include you or to assist you in your efforts. Your time and talents would be most appreciated.
