Looking for parade participants / T-shirt design / Event Sponsors
The East Brady Riverfest Committee has been hard at work and has all but finalized the plans for the 38th annual East Brady Area Riverfest. This year it will be a two-day event and more good news, the parade is back. The festival will be held on July 14 and 15th.
The main events will be held in the parking lot of the All Stars Bar and Restaurant on Kellys Way. The festival parade will kick off the event at 6:30 pm on Friday, July 14th then live music by, “In The Now” until 11 PM. The Riverfest will resume on Saturday, July 15th at noon with activities for kids and adults at the All Stars parking lot, live music by “Stephen Hagg Band” at 7 PM, and will play until the fireworks at 10 PM.
The committee, however, is reaching out to the community for sponsorship donations.
The committee thanks you in advance for your sponsorship/donation! Your support each year helps to make the EB Riverfest event a great success. Donations are fully tax-deductible.

Please make check payable to: EB Riverfest.
Gold Sponsorships are donations of $300 or more and will have your name/business name on the official EB Riverfest T-shirt in Large Letters, listed in The Progress News and on the EB Riverfest Facebook page.
Silver Sponsorships are for donations of $200 to $299 and you will have your name/business name on the official EB Riverfest T-shirt (smaller letters), and the EB Riverfest Facebook page.
Bronze Sponsorships are those who donate $100 to $199. You will get your name/business name listed on the EB Riverfest Facebook page.
General donations are greatly appreciated.
When sending in your donation, please indicate the name/business name that you would like to appear on the promotional items. And include your name, address, and phone.
Donations should be sent in by June 1st to be properly acknowledged.
Any local church, club, or business interested in setting up a booth please do so, the spots are free.

Anyone interested in becoming a member or who just wants to help out with the event, please reach out to any committee member.
This year’s East Brady Riverfest Committee members are Danielle Brink, Brook Ekas, Pat Ekas, Jason Hall, Mike Hall, Jeannie Livengood, Dave Love, Dan Markle, Shelia Markle, Luanne McAnallen, Cliff McClure, Bill Rode, and Devon Weidenhof.
The EB Riverfest committee is also looking for parade participants. Come join the parade and win a prize! The parade will be Friday, July 14th at 6:30 pm. If interested in participating, contact the parade coordinator, Mike Hall. You can email him at mkhall@zoominternet.com. The committee is also looking for fire departments and ambulance service parade entries. Also, marching units, the first 8 units to enter will receive $150. Check with the parade coordinator for more details.
Floats and boat entries with a 1st place prize of $300. Decorated golf carts 1st prize will be $100, decorated bikes by kids under 12 – 1st place gets $50. There also be a pet parade. The winner of the Pet Parade receives a $50 Petco gift card. Other parade entry ideas are also welcome.
The committee is still looking for designs for the 2023 Riverfest T-shirt. Designs are still being accepted up to May 15th. The winner will receive their name on the design, a Riverfest T-shirt, and a Riverfest hoodie! So enter your design as soon as possible. Designs can be emailed to: riverfest2019@yahoo.com
