Edward McGowan, Sr. Has 90th Birthday
Edward J. McGowan. Sr.
Edward J. McGowan Sr. of Karns City turned 90 years old. Born January 15, 1932 in Butler, he was married to Patricia A. Murphy on November 28, 1963. She passed away on May 28, 1998. They had six children, Edward (Trina) McGowan, Jr. of Abilene, TX; Eric (Cindy) McGowan of Pittsburgh, PA; Mary (Mark) Northcott of Slippery Rock, PA; Erol (Shai) McGowan of State College, PA; Gene (Aimee) McGowan of Middlefield, OH; and Betsy (Danny) Coyle of Butler, PA; and 10 grandchildren. Later in life Ed was engaged to Verna M. Craig whom he shared 12 wonderful years with.
Ed is a retired school teacher from Moniteau School District and a faithful parishioner of St. Faustina Parish.
To celebrate Ed’s 90th Birthday his family requests that friends and family join them in a 90th Birthday Card Shower.
In June, Ed will be celebrating this great milestone with a dinner attended by all of his children and grandchildren at a restaurant in Butler.
