Frank McDowell, 82, of Emlenton, Pa. passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021, at his residence of natural causes.
Born in Pittsburgh, Pa. on September 18, 1939, he was the son of late Carl J. and Magdalena Raible McDowell.
Frank was employed by the former Pullman-Standard Mfg. of Butler until its closing. He was later employed by Open-Joist Mfg. in Scrubgrass Township.
He was a social member of the VFW at Parker and Cherry Valley.
He is survived by his wife Shirley Wagner McDowell; daughter Cindy White and grandson Austin of the Butler area; sisters: Madelen Spence of South Carolina and Janice Marie Sherman of Butler; brothers William Jennings McDowell of Meridian and Carl Gerald “Gary” McDowell of Butler.
All arrangements are private per Frank’s wishes, and the Buzard Funeral Home of Eau Claire is caring for the family at this time.
