Friends of the Eccles Lesher Library Going Virtual

Hit the local trails and support The Friends of the Eccles Lesher Memorial Library. The group is sponsoring a virtual 5K or 2 mile walk. Run or walk on your own time in support of the local library. Registrations will be open from May 17, 2021 till June 30, 2021. The cost is $20.00 and includes a t-shirt as long as supplies last. After June 30, 3 names will be chosen from the registrations to win a prize. Applications and payments can be made in person at the library or at the Friends of the Library Venmo account@ELMLFriends. Sign up is also available on line at runsignup.com.
In addition to the virtual 5K/2mile walk, the Friends group will be holding a Giant Used Book Sale on Friday and Saturday, May 14 & 15 beginning at 11AM. The Secret Garden Book Store is located on the second floor of the library. The back door of the library will be opened during the sale for easier access. All books will be available for only 50 cents a bag. A great deal with access to all kinds of books…fiction, non-fiction, children, teens and adults.
