Garden Club of Clarion County Hold April Meeting

Members of the Garden Club of Clarion County met at Sons of Italy in East Brady, Pennsylvania April 13, 2021. Darlene Hartle, President called the meeting to order and welcomed everyone in attendance.

Following a lunch of chicken salad croissants and a choice of lemon or coconut cream pie, Garden Club member, Shirley Loose, gave a demonstration and informational talk about succulents.

A business meeting followed. Four members who had passed away last year were honored by the club. The Garden Club of Clarion County received several honors for the 2019 Flower Show that was held by the club.

Plans were made to cleanup the various sites taken care of the by the Garden Club (Riverhill, the Blue Star Memorial and the Cancer Center).
