Garden Club of Clarion County Meeting – September 14, 2021

Members of the Garden Club of Clarion County met at Quiet Creek Farm in Brookville, Pennsylvania on September 14, 2021. Darlene Hartle, President called the meeting to order and welcomed everyone in attendance. Following a lunch of Penne Pasta with meat sauce, focaccia bread, baby greens salad with herb dressing and squash cake for desert, the regular meeting was held.

Quiet Creek Farm presented a program on tinctures and demonstrated the making of a tincture from the flower of golden rod and vodka. Information was also presented on the use of ginger and samples of ginger tea were enjoyed. Members enjoyed their gift shop following the meeting.
