Gayle and Peggy were married June 25, 1960 at the United Methodist Church in West Freedom their lifelong church. They still are active and attend worship services weekly.
Gayle is retired from Central Electric Co-Op in Parker. He enjoys his daily walks up and down Limeplant Road, also reading and gardening. In earlier years he enjoyed hunting, painting, woodworking, spending time outside working in his yard, helped coach little league. He was a lay minister for the United Methodist charge and active in the church choir (he has quite a baritone voice), and Sunday School teacher and other church activities.

She was treasurer/secretary for West Freedom Water Co for many years, also was on election board. She loves crocheting, knitting and quilting, baking and cooking family dinners.
Both were involved in the West Freedom Cemetery Association for many years. They love to travel to their two daughters Mindy and Amy that live out of state, Ohio and Virginia.
