Gerald F. Gershak, 73 of Karns City died Monday, December 7, 2020 at his home.
Born January 31, 1947 in Butler, he was the son of Frank and Evelyn “Lucille” (Lewis) Gershak.
A US Army Veteran, Gerry served his country during the Vietnam Era. He was a recipient of the National Service Defense Medal, the Good Conduct Medal and an Expert Rifle (M-14) Badge. Upon his discharge, he began a career at Pullman Standard until the time of their closure. Gerry then worked for Dr. Joseph Scisly as a dental prosthetist making dentures for his practice.
Gerry enjoyed working on cars and fishing. He was truly a jack of all trades.
Surviving are his two children; Noah Gershak of Karns City and Gabriele Gershak (Thomas Walters) of Meadville. He is also survived by two grandsons; Sebastian and Phoenix Walters.
Gerry was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Nancy (DiGiammarino) Gershak and one sister, Joyce Parisi.
There will be no public services for Gerald F. Gershak. Arrangements are under the direction of Buechele Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., East Brady.
