Robert “Bob” Ketner

Today’s the Anniversary of the day (December 10th) that I last saw you

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be.

So he put his arms around you and whispered

“Come to Me”.

Although we loved you dearly, we could

not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating, hard working

hands at rest.

God broke our hearts to prove to us,

He only takes the best.

But love has taught me many things,

and now I face each day with hope and memories to help

me on my way.

And though I’m full of sadness that you’re

no longer here,

Your influence still guides me and I still feel you near.

What we shared will never die it lives within my heart.

Bringing strength and comfort while we are apart.
