James L. Keller

James Leonard “Uncle Jim” Keller, 80, of Industry PA, died Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Cranberry Place, Cranberry Twp. He was born in Cherry Valley on May 28, 1940 to the late Admiral Dewey Keller and Nellie Coville Keller.
A Valley Native, he had resided in Natrona Heights, Saxonburg, along the river in Emlenton and Russellton prior to moving to Brighton Twp.
James served in the Air Force as a PVT Third Class and was discharged from McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey with the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award.
A certified welder and electrician he retired as Supervisor / Foreman for Pittsburgh Metals in Saxonburg.
Jim was a Life Member of the Culmerville Sportsmen Club, the Outdoor Life Lodge and the VFW in Parker and enjoyed Cowboy movies and Country Music.
He is survived by his children: Rose Marie (Thomas) Speary, Industry; Robin Renee’(Ronald) Farkas; Lower Burrell, Rachel Lynn (Scott) Mortimer, Emlenton; William Dewey Keller, Lyndora and David Keller; grandchildren: Phillip James Speary and Rachelle R. (James) Speary-Murin and two additional grandchildren; and sister Sharon (Jack) Howard.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his grandson Daniel Sean Speary; brothers: Harry, Buck, and Jerry Keller and sisters: Ella Nolker, Elsie Huff, Audrey Anderson, Betty Bartak, Dorothy Bartak and Alice Sopcak.
Due to the covid restrictions a memorial service will be held at a future date. Burial will be in Emlenton Cemetery.
