Today, local small business owner, United States Navy Veteran and dedicated community leader, R. Lee James announced he is running for re-election in the 64th Legislative District of the Pennsylvania State House of Representatives.
The 64th Legislative District includes all of Venango County, the City of Titusville and four Townships in Crawford County.
”It is my honor and privilege to serve as your State Representative,” said Representative James. “As your voice in Harrisburg, my job is to listen to you and enact policies that will help to make our communities a better place to live, work, and raise a family.”
To ensure the needs of our community are brought to the forefront in the State House, R. Lee James formerly served on the Appropriations, Environmental Resources and Energy, Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness, Tourism, and Local Government Committees. James now serves as the Chairman of the Local Government Committee. Representative James is also the Co-Chairman of the Parks and Recreation, and the Arts and Cultural Caucuses.
During his time in the State Legislature, R. Lee James has earned a reputation as a trusted, conservative voice that fights for our rural way of life and stands up for the working-class values we share in this part of Pennsylvania.
Proud of the place we call home and the values we share, State Representative James’ legislative priorities include: passing fiscally responsible budgets that do not increase taxes on our hardworking families and seniors on fixed incomes; enacting pro-growth policies that enabled the private sector to protect and create family-sustaining jobs; investing in the infrastructure necessary to promote a strong economy and safe communities, and improving and preserving the education system for Pennsylvania students and parents.
Respectfully asking for your vote and support, State Representative R. Lee James concluded, “It is my promise to you that I will continue to stand up for the issues that matter the most to us and I would be honored to have your support and vote on Primary Election Day, Tuesday, April 23, 2024.”
