Knox Lions Student of The Month Selected

Bill Black of Knox Lions Club presents Brianna VanTassel

with her student of the month certificate.

The Knox Lions Club held a regular meeting on March 22, 2021 where the March 2021 student of the month was recognized for her accomplishments. The March 2021 student of the month is Brianna VanTassel, a Keystone Jr/Sr High School Senior, in which she was presented with a Certificate of Achievement and a Silver Eagle Coin by Lion Bill Black.

Brianna was selected for this recognition by her school for her accomplishments inside the classroom and involvement in the community. Brianna participates in a number of school activities, including Cheerleading, Keystone’s National Honor Society, Student Government and Choir. She serves as the secretary for the class of 2021 as well as the yearbook staff’s secretary. She intends to begin her higher education journey at Clarion University this fall to earn a degree in Real Estate.

Brianna has had plenty of community involvement, including volunteer work at Charitable Deed’s spaghetti dinners, church fish fries, Grace EC Church’s vacation bible school and packing food to be distributed to those in need. Brianna also came up with the idea behind the Knox Community Spirit Parade, which took place this past fall in Knox, and with the aid of Tiki Kahle.
