Knox Lions' Students of the Month

Fifteen members of the Knox Lions Club recognized the February “Student of the Moth”. Twin girls, Emily and Natalie Pfaff, daughters of Jennifer and Jason Pfaff, of Shippenville, Pa., were special guests of the club.
Both girls were inducted into the National Honor Society, involved in student government, members of the band, musical tech crew, choir, and were on the softball team. Both were part of the Keystone Youth Education Association, and were senior class officers.
Their community activities included, volunteering at Santa’s Workshop, elementary field days, Cornerstone Vacation Bible School and Parents Night Out, National Honor Society activities and worked at Clarion Meadows.
Emily Pfaff was on the dance team, participated in competitive swimming, a member of the select ensemble, art and archery clubs. After graduation she will be attending Indiana University of Pennsylvania to earn a bachelor’s degree in nursing with a goal of working in a hospital’s trauma emergency room.
Natalie was involved in competitive cheerleading, vice president of the senior class, Spanish club, drumline, volleyball and worked at the snack shack. After graduation she will be attending Slippery Rock University, majoring in biology in their accelerated physician’s assistant program.
