Knox Public Library News

The Knox Public Library building remains open to the public. Masks are required for all visitors and hand sanitizer will be provided for use before browsing. We have limited hours-Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Fridays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. We will be closed on Sundays and Wednesdays. Children must be accompanied by an adult and remain with the adult at all times. Toys and games are not available in our children’s area at this time. Computers will be available for patron use; however, a 30-minute time limit will be enforced. Headphones will not be available; please bring your own or purchase from us (the sound issue has been fixed). Copy, print, and fax services will be available, but please try to have exact change (copies and print outs are $0.25 per page for black/white and $0.50 for color and faxes are $1.00 per page). Curbside service is still available. Please contact the library for more information.

Library Virtual 5k

We had to cancel two of our planned 5k fundraisers this summer, so we are holding a virtual 5k fundraiser! Visit runsignup.com (search “Knox Public Library”) to register online. Visit our Facebook event page for more information. Once you register, you will run or walk your own 5k course and report the time back to us. We will send a giveaway item as a thank you for participating and all participants who submit their time by October 3rd wil be entered into a gift card giveaway. Early bird pricing ends on September 8th. The 5k event registration closes on October 3rd.

Labor Day Weekend

We will be CLOSED from Saturday, September 5th through Monday, September 7th for the Labor Day holiday. We will reopen on Tuesday, September 8th at 11:00 a.m.

**We are not accepting any book donations at this time and our used book sale is closed.
