Leia Bauer Presented with Knox Lions Club Student of The Month

The Knox Lions Club held a regular meeting on September 27, 2021, where the September 2021 student of the month was recognized for her accomplishments. The Knox Lions Club Student of the Month is Leia Bauer, a Keystone Jr/Sr High School Senior, in which she was presented with a Certificate of Achievement and a Silver Eagle Coin by Lion Bill Black.
Leia was selected for this recognition by her school for her accomplishments inside the classroom and her involvement in the community. Leia is the Class of 2022 secretary, and is a member of the SPARK club, as well as the National Honor Society. In addition, she also has participated in KHS’s musicals, Jazz Band, Concert Band, Concert Choir, and Select Ensemble. She has a passion for dancing, which she does at the Clarion Center for the Arts and is also Keystone’s dance team captain.
Upon graduation, Leia plans to study Mathematics with a Cooperative Engineering Concentration, through Clarion University’s 3/2 Engineering Program, which works with both the University of Pittsburgh and Case Western Reserve University. She has volunteered at Immaculate Conception Church and as an assistant dance teacher. Leia is the daughter of Scott and Sharon Bauer.
