During the COVID 19 school shut down, Autism Tough provided numerous local students with sensory bins that included a variety of sensory items to help the students with their sensory needs at home. Each bin was tailored to each child’s specific needs. Autism Tough Foundation has also provided local fire departments back packs filled with items to carry with them on their trucks. These backpacks help those who have been diagnosed with Autism in an emergency situation. They have provided the fire departments with training on how to identify someone with special needs and how to approach, communicate and help that individual.
