Megan Weber is a candidate for Clintonville Borough Mayor.
She will seek the Republican nomination in the May 18 primary election.
Weber has been a lifelong Clintonville resident. She says she spends her free time supporting local events, organizations and businesses as well as volunteering. Giving back has always been important to her and she is frequently seen at local benefits and fundraisers.
She graduated from Franklin Area High School in 2001 and went on to Grove City College where she graduated in 2005 with a B.A. in sociology and a minor in political science.
Weber has worked at Komatsu Mining Corp. in Franklin since 2008 as a Service Planning Analyst. She plans to begin her MBA at Gannon University in the fall. She is a member of the Southwestern Venango County Community Day Planning Committee, Franklin Rotary, MOPS (Mother’s of Pre-Schoolers), FLEX (Future Leaders & Entrepreneurs Exchange) and is a Be Here Ambassador.
“I am looking forward to serving my community by working with local businesses and community organizations such as the Clintonville Volunteer Fire Department. If elected Mayor, I plan to bring new ideas to the community. She also looks forward to working with Borough residents to address their issues and concerns.”
