Nellie V. Stiffy, 64, of Clarion, passed away early Sunday morning, August 2, 2020 at Clarion Hospital. Nellie was born in Callensburg on April 6, 1956. She was the daughter of the late John F. and Nellie T. Kellerman Bowser. She was a homemaker and enjoyed camping, cookouts, fishing, and riding her side by side. She was a graduate of Knoch High School. Surviving is her husband, Charles C. Stiffy, whom she married in Saxonburg on June 7, 1975. Also surviving are two children, Rodger A. and John C. Stiffy, both of Clarion; five grandchildren; two brothers, Thomas J. Bowser Sr. and his wife, Kathy, and Eugene “Geno” Bowser Sr., both of Parker; a sister, Margie A. Dawson and her husband, James, of Rimersburg, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Private arrangements are under the direction of the Hile Funeral Home Inc., St. Petersburg.
