The Dumpsters Will Be Located Up In The Township Park (1571 Hooker Road, Karns City) By The Kelly Shelter. Will Not Accept Hazardous Materials, Tires, Electronics, Computers, Tvs, Or Appliances
The Annual Lot Holders Meeting of the Emlenton Cemetery Company will be held on Wednesday, May 1st, at 4 pm at the Emlenton United Methodist Church, to be immediately followed by the Directors Meeting.
Meeting Notice- The Monroe Cemetery Association will hold its Annual Meeting on April 26th at 6:30 PM in the basement meeting room of St. Mark’s UCC Church. All Association members are urged to attend.
Litter Pick up in Emlenton Borough is April 27th. Anyone wishing to help are asked to meet in front of the Crawford Center at 9:00 AM. There will be bags, gloves, and vests available. Rain date will be May 4th at 9:00 AM. Just to get an idea of helpers please call the Borough Office at 724-867-8611.
Emlenton Borough Council Meetings hours will change to 6 PM the first Monday of every month, starting May 6, 2024.
Emlenton Borough and Hunsberger Sanitation will host Clean-Up-Day on Friday, May 3, 2024. Trash must be at the curb by 6:00 AM. Examples that will be accepted include: Furniture/Bedding/Metal less than 8 feet in length. Will not be accpted include: Tv’s, Computer Monitors, Concrete, Tires. Huns-burger has the right to refuse pick up of unacceptable items.
