Pavers to Honor U.S. Veterans

Updated: Mar 27, 2021

Plans are proceeding to break ground this spring for phase 2 of the Bruin Area Veterans’ Memorial. High-quality 4" x 8" pavers will compose the Veterans‘ Plaza around the monuments of our memorial. If you would like to recognize an honorably discharged U.S. Veteran, service unit or ship with an engraved paver, now is the time!

Please follow these guidelines, we would like the pavers to be somewhat uniform.

Pavers may be engraved with up to 3 (three) lines of no more than 13 characters each, including spaces and punctuation.

The first line should be the Veteran’s name or rank and name — ex. Roy J. Snider or 1LT RJ Snider. The second line should be the branch of service — ex. US Army, US Navy, USAF, USMC or USCG. This line may also include rank if not included on the first line — ex. 1LT USAAC. The third line should be dates of service — ex. 1940 — 1942. If exact years cannot be confirmed, may substitute era of service — ex. WWII. Please try to give complete and accurate information as this will maintain the dignity of this honor. **PIease do not include pay grade.

This is a fitting way to honor the world’s greatest defender of freedom — The United States Military. Those honored need not be from the Bruin area nor have ever lived in Bruin, however they must be an honorably discharged U.S. Veteran.

Cost, including engraving, is $70 each or 3 for $200. Please include your name and phone number. Make checks payable to:
