Like many other organizations and businesses, the physical location of Chicken Coop Studio 306 is currently closed to the public. But that hasn’t stopped the team from creating! Members of the Coop have been posting live videos of easy art projects on their Facebook page. These projects use basic supplies that many people already have at home. They are also sharing other artwork and resources and posting encouragement as the community finds itself in uncharted territory. In addition to the steady stream of color on their Facebook page, the team is busy behind the scenes working on some exciting events for later in the year. The Coop members are choosing to stay positive and forge ahead as they prepare for a Kids’ Art Show, an Outdoor Women’s Art Evening, and of course Summer Camps! Details for each of these will be released as soon as the Coop is able to re-open. In the meantime, the Coop is asking for everyone to help spread happiness! Enter the Positively Creative Contest with your artwork containing your favorite positive phrase or saying. Artists of any age can submit their designs by tagging the Coop on Facebook or Instagram and using the hashtag #positivelycreativecontest. Entries will be accepted until Thursday, April 9 at 11:59pm. Winner will be chosen at random on Friday, April 10 at Noon, and will receive 1 free registration to a Chicken Coop Studio 306 summer camp of the winner’s choosing. Chicken Coop Studio 306 would like to encourage everyone to stay positive, work together, and be creative!
