Quiet Acres Camping Sets “Sights” on 2024 Season

Come take in the sights and sounds of nature at Quiet Acres Camping.

Are you looking for a new camping spot in a quiet setting? Owners Pam and Larry Smith welcome you to Quiet Acres Camping, located at 1507 Coulter Road, Knox, PA. Located just minutes off of Exit 53 of I-80 in Knox, Quiet Acres Camping is nestled between Coulter and Goughler Road and offers twelve full hook-up sites with underground electric, water and sewage and two primitive sites.

The Smiths, who have owned the land for some time, have transitioned the property into a camping experience “We wanted to offer people a simple place to enjoy nature yet not feel overwhelmed or crowded by everything going on around them. We are not the big campground but we do offer a relaxing environment which people can just simply relax.”

Quiet Acres has a small playground with swings and a sandbox for younger kids and is located near Beaver Creek which is stocked with trout on an annual basis for the fishing enthusiast in the family. The thirteen acre property also provides enough space for those who might enjoy a walk in nature.

Camp sites have a fire pit, picnic table and full service hookup with 20-50 amp electrical service as well as water and sewage.

On sight is also a 12x36 Cabin which serves as the office during the camping season. This lodge is also available to rent from November to February. The cabin features two queen beds with a loft area, refrigerator and a Ninja Oven that is an air fryer and toaster oven.

Come explore the area while you are here. The region offers great waterways to explore, trails to hike and an area that is rich in history.
