Activities began at 11 AM when a light lunch and raffle basket tickets were available for purchase. Around 1 PM approximately 500 numbered ping pong balls were dumped into the stream and very quickly raced to the funneled finish where #57 came in first place, followed by #356 and then #500. First and second places were won by Veteran families who donated the winnings back to B.A.V.M.A. Third place was won by Barb McGinnis. The two 50/50 raffles were won by Dan Swanson and Laurie Patsy. Winning tickets for the over 60 very nice raffle baskets were then drawn by four helpful children, prizes and baskets distributed, allowing folks plenty of time to go about their day and enjoy the pleasant May weather.

A special thanks to Brady’s Bend American Legion Ladies Auxiliary for providing and serving lunch; to the Sons of the American Legion for creating and conducting the Ping Pong Ball Race; and to all who volunteered and helped make this event such a success.
