Rodney C. Gladd
Rodney C. Gladd, seeks Mayor position on May 18. Rod is currently completing a two-year appointment as Mayor in Clintonville Borough. Having worked for 28.5 years with PennDot District 1-0 as a Materials Specialist and Municipal ServiceRepresentative Rod brings his expertise of road construction, liquid fuel funds, and borough code to theresidents of Clintonville Borough. Rod has served eight years as a council member and has served as President of Borough Council during that time.
Rod is past President and firefighter of Clintonville Volunteer Fire Department, and was recentlyapproved by the Governor as Emergency Management Coordinator for Clintonville Borough.
As Mayor, Rod oversees the local police within the borough.Rod was one of the first Mayors in the area to make an emergency declaration at the beginning of theCOVID-19 Pandemic.Rod has served ten years on the Venango County Regional Planning Commission and has had SO years of continuous service to the American Legion Post 243.Rod is a volunteer for the local food distribution and is currently serving as Republican Committeeman for Clintonville Borough.
He was honorably discharged from the US Army at the rank of Staff Sergeant.
Clintonville’s financial stability is due to the teamwork of the present council members and l am proud to serve the taxpayers of Clintonville Borough.
