RONALD J. “Ron” DeLisio, 85, of Washington Twp., Petrolia, Pa. passed away Friday morning, July 17, 2020 at his residence following an illness.
Born in Jackson Heights, Long Island, NY on April 8, 1935, he was son of late Albert and Mary Cullinane DeLisio.
Ron was married to the former Judith “Judy” Scott on June 3, 1961, and she survives following fifty-nine years of marriage.
He was Catholic by faith.
Employed nearly thirty-two years with Castle Rubber Co. of East Butler, he retired with last position of supervisior of inspection.
Enjoying woodworking, he and his wife Judy completely remodeled the home in which they lived many years. He was an avid reader as witnessed by the volumes of books he owned in his home. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving in addition to wife Judy are five children: Ronald (Tina) DeLisio of Butler; Timothy (Patty) DeLisio of Emlenton; Laura (Rob) Organ of Waxhaw, NC; Donna (Fred) Swanson of Carmel, NY; and Michael DeLisio of New Jersey; eight grandchildren, Lexan, Landon, Timothy, and Alex DeLisio, Hannah and Haley Organ, Emeline and Eddie Swanson; one sister: Angelica (Dennis) Malpiedi of Delray Beach, FL.
There will be no visitation or service per Ron’s request. H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home staff of Eau Claire is assisting the family at this time.
