SHIRLEY MAE CONFER, 68, of Clintonville, Pa., passed away on January 30, 2020, at the Arista Care Nursing home in Meadville, Pa. after a brief illness. She was born in New Kensington on June 27, 1951. She was the daughter of the late Howard and Margaret Viola McCanna Wilson.
She was a graduate of the Allegheny Clarion Valley High School and a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Clarion. She enjoyed being outside as well as fishing on Lake Erie with her son, Fred. Shirley loved animals but had a fondness for cats and birds. Most of all she loved her family and cherished spending time with them.
She is survived by her son Fred Wilson of Clintonville. Three Brothers: Garry (Nittya) of Layton, Utah; John Wilson of Chalk Hill, Pa.; and Richard Wilson of Emlenton, Pa. One sister: Margaret (James) Barger of Titusville, Pa.; her five nieces and nephews: Betsy Ann, Jamie, Garry, Barry and Linda Marie. As well as survived by three grandchildren and many great-nieces and nephews.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Confer.
