The Wildflower Garden Club of Leeper, in cooperation with the Garden Club Federation of PA and the PA Department of Transportation, dedicated a Blue Star Memorial as a tribute to the Armed Forces of America on September 16, 2023 at the interstate 80 rest stop, mile marker 31, westbound.
On hand for the ceremony were veterans, pictured left to right: Harold Faust, Jim McClaine, Linda Swab, Suzanne Hartwig, Jim Lawrence, and Ernie Hartwig.
