2026 Great American Cleanup of East Brady
Despite an all-morning rain, eight local volunteers came out for the Great American Cleanup of East Brady on Saturday, April 265h. About a dozen large bags of trash were picked up along Route 68, on residential streets, in parks and in town. In conjunction with this work, volunteers made repairs to fencing and signage on the East Brady portion of the Armstrong Trail.
Cleanup supplies are still available to anyone who is able to go out on their own to continue this effort. Please email ebadc68@gmail.com to arrange for pickup of supplies.
Thanks go out to our community partners; Farmer’s National Bank for the use of their parking lot, Old Bank Deli for the donation of coffee and doughnuts, and PennDOT for the provision of trash bags, gloves and vests. The yearly event was sponsored by the East Brady Area Development Corporation (EBADC).
