Fifty years ago a class of 115 graduated on the football field on a beautiful spring day; on September 14, 2024-49 classmates came together to reconnect and celebrate our school, our friendships, and our lives. We gathered at the Foxburg Country Club, a gorgeous setting looking at the high school in the distance on a beautiful fall evening. We had a delightful evening visiting and reconnecting to some we hadn’t seen in 50 years. Al A Carte Catering served a delicious dinner, and we had an array of cookies made by the committee. Classmates traveled from Texas, Florida, Kansas, New Jersey, Virginia, and New York.

On Friday evening 34 classmates and spouses met in Foxburg at the Grille to catch up. It was a fun, nonchalant evening with friends. Mrs. Ann Marron, one of our teachers, even made a welcome appearance.

On Saturday at the high school, Dr. David Mc Devitt, ACV superintendent, met a group of classmates and gave a very thorough tour of the building. Most were very surprised at the many changes such as a LGI-Large Group Instruction room in a new wing, the room we all

had reading in with Mrs. Mary Stewart-now a part of the library, and a new look in the cafeteria, library, and gymnasium. The weight room was an impressive addition to the high school too. It was a terrific reunion-one for our history books!
